Conditions of use

These conditions apply to any person using any Manta Electronics (Manta) website for any reason. Manta's websites include: www.trinitycctv.co.nz, www.avscarsecurity.com, www.manta.co.nz, http://shop.manta.co.nz and www.avstracking.com

If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, do not use this or any other Manta website.

Use of the site:
You agree not to use any Manta website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by Manta's terms and conditions. You may download information for your own personal use but otherwise neither the websites, nor any material on them, may be adapted, reproduced, copied, stored, distributed, printed, displayed, performed, published or any derivative works created from any part without prior written consent from Manta.

You must not include any pages from Manta websites on any intranet page or external web page (public or secure) without the written consent of Manta. You must not create any links to the websites other than to their home pages. You must not create, use or distribute any software or technique which allows you, or any other user, to bypass the login areas of the websites.

Your information:
Your personal information will only be used for the purposes for which it is collected, being the supply of goods or services from Manta's websites, or for receiving information if you have signed up for our newsletters. Manta does not guarantee the confidentiality or security of any information transmitted to or from our websites.

If the customer is a natural person the Privacy Act 1993 entitles the customer to have access to personal information held by Manta about the customer and to request correction of that personal information.

Cancellation of your newsletter subscription:
At any time you can un-subscribe from any Manta mailing list by replying to a Manta email with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject header.

Subscription cost:
It is free to subscribe to any Manta newsletter but you are responsible for any costs incurred in using its website, including any charges imposed by your internet service provider.

Use of cookies:
Manta's websites may use 'cookies'. Cookies are an element of data that the website can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. To use Manta's websites you do not necessarily need to enable your browser to accept cookies, although some information/services may not be available if you disable your browser not to accept cookies.

Links to other websites:
Any links to other websites are provided for convenience only, and the inclusion of any link does not imply any endorsement or verification by Manta. Manta does not monitor the content of any other website and is not liable or responsible in relation to any content on them or any loss or damage arising from access to or use of these sites. Use at your own risk.

Site accessibility:
Manta will use all reasonable commercial effort to ensure the general availability of its websites and will restore services as soon as reasonably possible in the event of any interruption. However, Manta does not warrant website services will be uninterrupted or error free. Manta takes no responsibility for and has no liability for any unavailability of its websites, corruption or loss of data or transmission of viruses or losses relating to these events. In particular, Manta takes no responsibility or liability for any events which are outside our reasonable control including communications and hardware failures relating to its websites.

Governing law:
New Zealand law governs the use of Manta's websites and these terms and conditions.

While Manta has endeavoured to ensure that the information provided on its websites is free from error, Manta does not warrant its accuracy, adequacy or completeness, and Manta shall not be responsible or liable for any error in, or omission from, the information provided. Manta reserves the right to make changes to the information provided at any time and without notice.

Amendment of terms and conditions:
From time to time Manta may vary these terms and conditions without notice. Please check these terms and conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of Manta's websites after the terms and conditions have been changed indicates your acceptance of those changes.

Liability:
Without limiting any other provision of these terms and conditions you agree that any and all liability and responsibility of Manta as a result of or arising from your use of the its websites or services or for any other matter relating in any way to Manta's websites or their content, is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. Manta’s liability and responsibility is excluded in respect of any and all loss or damage, whether direct or indirect including, without limitation, loss or profits, loss of data, loss of business and consequential and indirect loss.

Restricted access to trade areas:
Some Manta websites have restricted access trade areas. Manta has the sole right to authorise access to these areas. If Manta has provided you with a trade login it is for use only for the purposes of your business. You must keep your username and password strictly confidential and it must not be disclosed to any person other than your authorised employees. Any order placed using your username and password will be charged to your account. You are responsible for the consequences of all unauthorised use of your username and password. Manta reserves the right to terminate your account or bar you from access to the websites.
